On December 3, Barry Manilow, now 81 years old, revealed exciting news regarding his musical career: he has agreed to a lifetime residency at the International Theater located within the Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Reflecting on his journey, Manilow expressed gratitude, stating, “My experience performing at the International Theater has been nothing short of remarkable. The support from David Siegel and the Westgate team feels like family to me. I am truly thankful for this chance to make Westgate my home as I continue my performances throughout my career.”
He joyfully shared this milestone with fans on Instagram, inviting them with an enthusiastic message: “Have you visited Barry’s house? 🪩 You’re welcome to see #MANILOW at @westgatevegas all year long!”

Upcoming Holiday Show Series
According to recent announcements from Westgate officials, Barry is scheduled to deliver a series of holiday-themed concerts from December 5 through December 14. Audiences can expect an exhilarating mix of his legendary hits alongside festive songs that capture the spirit of the season.
Enthusiastic fans can secure tickets for performances stretching until November 2025.
Celebrating Bond and Legacy
David Siegel, founder and executive chairman of Westgate Resorts stated about Manilow: “He truly is an artist who transcends generations and holds a special place in our hearts as both a friend and performer. Our relationship has developed over time into something incredibly meaningful; it’s an honor to provide him with this unique opportunity.”
Record-Breaking Performances
During his impactful career at this venue last year, Manilow achieved an extraordinary feat by performing his 637th show there—breaking Elvis Presley’s longstanding record for most shows held at that venue. In recognition of this significant accomplishment, he was awarded a key symbolizing access along the iconic Las Vegas Strip.
Concerns arose earlier when he postponed one concert during his London residency due to health reasons but quickly returned effortlessly to perform just the next evening to an eager audience featuring guests such as Chris Lowe from Pet Shop Boys.
In conversation with ITV prior to these shows in London last summer, Manilow remarked on stepping away from touring altogether. He commented humorously about age-related expectations by saying: “People often ask why I’m still up here hitting those high notes! Honestly? It’s starting feel tedious; I’m finishing touring but will always record new music.”

Reflecting on His Career Journey
In July interviews with local media outlets like Des Moines Register , Barry reflected upon how unexpected longevity characterizes his professional life in music—something he never anticipated when first embarking toward stardom back in 1974.
“I assumed making records would lead right into tours immediately,” said man whose early days were filled disbelief regarding consistent fan turnout across various cities nationwide cheering him on while noting humorous observations about once being ‘that skinny guy singing my songs’ decades ago.”
Despite announcing retirement plans regarding touring specifically; he emphasized continuing live performances whenever possible because “I’m done packing up bags after every show.”
