This funding is intended to support the Norway Equitable Housing Cooperative (NEHC), which aims to address local housing needs. The event took place at the future site of NEHC’s developments.

In a significant step forward, CEBE recently acquired properties located at 33 and 35 Whitman Street in Norway. Earlier this year, extensive efforts were made to clear these sites, including asbestos removal and demolition activities completed in January. Thanks to further backing from foundations and generous private contributors, NEHC envisions creating 17 affordable housing units owned by residents within downtown Norway.
