In addition to strengthening existing ⁢core components, technological interventions are ⁤set⁢ to play a significant role in⁣ tiger and wildlife conservation⁣ efforts over the current ‌and upcoming financial years. ⁤An example of this is seen in ‌Project Tiger’s utilization of technology‍ such as M-STrIPES ⁤(Monitoring System‌ for Tigers), Intensive Protection and Ecological Status mobile application which aligns with India’s ‘Digital India’‍ initiative.

Furthermore, conservation genetics has been integral to tiger conservation⁣ efforts by issuing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for ⁢translocating tigers based on their genetic⁢ composition. Genetics has also played a crucial ⁤role in⁤ determining tiger numbers in low ⁢density landscapes while aiding research‌ into their food ecology.

– What are some ⁢practical tips for individuals ⁤to contribute to wildlife conservation efforts in their daily lives?
