A Workshop on Stress and Health for Corporate Staff
The Hydro Power Development Corporation of Arunachal Pradesh Limited (HPDCAPL) recently organized a workshop-cum-training program focused on stress and health with lifestyle management for its staff and other participants. The event, held at the corporation’s conference hall, aimed to address the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in today’s high-pressure corporate environment.
Emphasizing the significance of daily exercise and good habits for overall well-being, HPDCAPL Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Toko Onuj, highlighted the need for a balanced lifestyle. He stressed the importance of staying fit and maintaining a healthy body and mind in the face of the demanding corporate world.
Dr. Vishal Gaur, President of the Sampoorna Health Education & Research Society based in New Delhi, served as the resource person for the workshop. Dr. Gaur shed light on the detrimental effects of chronic stress, such as cardiovascular diseases, weakened immune function, and mental health disorders. He also provided practical strategies for managing stress, including mindfulness techniques, diet management skills, and the significance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
