The Rocketz to Perform at Siren’s Song Tavern
The Rocketz will be taking the stage at the Siren’s Song Tavern in Eureka on Friday night. This all-ages show will start at 8 p.m. and admission is $10.
Magenta Mountain and the Mystical A/V Club Presents “Big Bug Island”
“Big Bug Island” will be presented by Magenta Mountain and the Mystical A/V Club from Thursday to Saturday (June 27-29) at the 5th and D Street Theater. The theater, located at 300 Fifth St., Eureka, will host all three shows at 8 p.m. The Mystical A/V Club and Magenta Mountain are currently in residence at Dell’Arte International and are excited to bring back their freeform frolics to the 5 & D stage after the success of last year’s “:CTRL+ALT+DELETE” (part of the Outer Fringe Festival). Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.ncrt.net for $20 for general admissions and $18 for students and seniors.

Blues legend Johnny Rawls will be headlining “Soul Night” on July 6 from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Historic Eagle House, located at the corner of Second and C streets, Eureka. Admission is $10. Local favorites Jenni & David & The Sweet Soul Band will be opening for Rawls. Rawls will be backed on stage by Justin Hobart Brown, David Childers, Paul DeMark, and Good Rockin’ Derral Alexander, who will be bringing his sax and joining in the fun.
