Thelma Louise Remake, They have been an inseparable pair of late. And now Cara Delevingne, 21, and Michelle Rodriguez, 35, are alleged to have agreed to a remake of the cult classic roadie movie, Thelma & Louise.
According to The Sun, Rodriguez has been in talks about remaking the film since late last year.
And now the British supermodel has formed a close alliance and friendship with the Fast and Furious actress, it is alleged that Michelle has lined up a screen test with Cara.
A source told the newspaper: ‘Michelle is heavily in demand to take the lead after her success in The Fast And The Furious.
‘A few names have been mentioned as her co-star, including Kristen Stewart, Annalynne McCord and Leighton Meester – but Michelle is pushing for Cara.
‘She thinks she would light up the big screen and that the pair of them would be a huge hit together.’
The original 1991 Thelma & Louise was with Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis who played an Arkansas waitress and a housewife who shoot a rapist and go on the run in a ’66 Thunderbird.star as best friends.
In the past, Cara has openly revealed her passion for acting and want to be a film star.
Cara is set to star as Viola in Kids In Love, expected to be released on August 1 in the UK, and has currently been filming for her role as Melanie in crime drama The Face Of An Angel, which tells the story of a journalist and a documentary filmmaker who chase the story of a murder and its prime suspect.
Cara and Michelle were only just spotted heading out to lunch and some drinks in Notting Hill on Thursday.
The couple were also recently spotted having a laugh at Paddington Station, and they have previously been seen out together at a basketball game between the New York Knicks and the Detroit pistons in Madison Square Garden and at the Big Cat Adventures ranch in Nevada.
And they could be spending even more time together following reports that Cara has asked the stunning actress to move in with her.
The pair are said to be looking for a place to live in London and will split their time between the UK and Los Angeles.
The pair also went paintballing together with friends in Cobham, Surrey, and were reportedly ‘very affectionate with each other.’
A source told MailOnline: ‘The day out was for Cara’s birthday. She said that she always organises them six months or so late.’
