Star Trek Tv Series, After the recent success of ‘Star Trek’ on the big screen, it looks as though it may begin its voyage home in an all new TV show.

It’s no secret that ‘Star Trek’ has always been more at home on television. Even William Shatner himself explained that the ‘entertaining, interesting, vital stories’ of the TV shows are what made the franchise. But with the recent success of the ‘Star Trek’ reboot, could we finally see another Trek series on TV? Writer Bob Orci has apparently revealed that he’s had a meeting with CBS about just that.

According to Joe Michalczuk of Sky News Entertainment, ‘Star Trek’ writer Bob Orci has confirmed that he recently met with CBS about an all-new ‘Star Trek’ TV series.

Bob Orci just told me they’ve had a meeting with CBS to revive @StarTrek on TV…This made me v excited

Of course, we’ve got absolutely no idea what the outcome of this meeting was so whether or not a new ‘Star Trek’ TV show will ever make it to air remains to be seen. Still, it’s promising nonetheless.

But many ‘Trek’ fans have been quick to note that J.J. Abrams himself dismissed the idea rather recently. “What I’ve been told from the powers that be [at CBS] is that they’re not interested,” he told Crave Online. But a lot could have changed since then.
