Pregnant Woman Hit By Snowplow, Doctors have managed to save the life of a pregnant woman’s unborn baby after she was knocked over and killed by a snow plow in Brooklyn. Min Lin, who was eight months’ pregnant, was hit in a grocery store parking lot at about 10.45am on Thursday. She was rushed to a hospital and doctors were able to perform an emergency cesarean section to deliver her baby boy.
Locals say the same person has been operating the Bobcat plow for years and that they have previously feared his reckless driving would one day ‘kill somebody.’
Ms Lin, who was from Brooklyn, went into cardiac arrest after being backed into by the snow plow, police said. She died at the hospital.
The expectant mother had been loading groceries into a car in the parking lot next to Fei Long Market in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn when the Bobcat plow hit her.
She was with her husband at the time of the collision. He didn’t suffer any injuries, CBS New York reported.
A NYPD spokeswoman told Mail Online that officers arrived to find the 36-year-old victim on the ground with ‘severe body trauma’.
