Jenna Bush Hager Today Show, Jenna Bush Hager usually sports pretty feminine dresses on camera, but for a Today show interview airing this morning she chose something a little more sexy.
The 31-year-old, who became a mother for the first time this April, uploaded a photo to Twitter showing a sneak peak from today’s installment showing her dressed in a blue leather-look top and tight green pants.
The ‘action shot’ shows the blonde former first daughter lost in conversation with interviewee, NFL player and New Orleans Saints quarterback, Drew Brees.
Mrs Bush Hager captioned the image, posted yesterday: ‘Tomorrow on @TODAYshow I spent some time in NOLA [New Orleans] with @drewbrees learning about his terrific work.’
Mr Brees and his wife Brittany have launched an after-school entrepreneurship program for New Orleans high school students called The Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge.
The couple also run the The Brees Dream Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising money for children in the area.
As Mrs Bush Hager took to the sports field to interview Mr Brees, she swapped her girly dresses for something more practical. The fitted ensemble she selected also puts her enviable figure on show.
The TV host soon lost her baby weight after giving birth this spring. Indeed, just two weeks after welcoming her daughter, Mila, into the world she was back in front of the camera, looking as radiant as ever.
Wearing a bright red dress, there was not a sign of the ‘mummy tummy’ that most new mothers might be suffering from.
A glossy blow-dry and flawless make-up completed her polished look.
Viewers were quick to praise the NBC correspodant, taking to Twitter to comment on how well she looks.
One user wrote: ‘Love this! . . . Jenna looks FAB after just having a baby!! Congrats to the Bush fam! [sic]’
Mrs Bush Hager has fully embraced motherhood and appears to be able to juggle her hectic work schedule with home life.
Earlier this year on her blog, The Novo Project, she revealed she couldn’t stop staring at her daughter’s ‘little, precious hands.’
She also marked her first Mother’s Day in May, tweeting tender family snaps of the newborn at home in New York.
Expressing her love for little Mila, she wrote: ‘I’ve learned that you can love somebody in a totally different way,’ she said. ‘I’m close to crying, of course, you know me. I’m totally crazy about her.’
She described her husband and former White House aide, Henry Hager, as ‘a really modern dad’, and the first time he read a story to their daughter also triggered her tears.
‘He was taking a conference call while holding the baby yesterday,’ she revealed. ‘But we’re just having so much fun. He read the first book to her that Don Nash gave us. I cried.’
The couple got married in 2008, and she announced her pregnancy in December 2012 on-air during the show.
For the new mom, family is of utmost importance; her twin sister, Barbara, was there when Mrs Bush Hager’s water broke unexpectedly at her baby shower, and she has made no secret of her love for her ‘gramps’ – George Bush.
Indeed, last week she tweeted a picture of the former President holding little Mila in a cute NASA outfit for Halloween.
She tweeted that her father was discussing astronomy with the baby girl.
